Computational Social Science Impact Fund:Measurable Change Through CSSci

Our students focus on change in the world of mobility, health, water, climate and more. Changing behaviour is difficult. Changing systems even more!

Recently we launced, together with our partner Ruben Brave, the Computational Social Science Impact Fund.

The Impact Fund Partnership gives you the chance to engage with talented students through two invitations per year to contribute challenges and attend partner events.

Many student projects show strong innovation potential but stop after the course ends as proof-of-concept prototypes, due to practical barriers such as hosting, maintenance, or lack of funding.

With your help and with this recently launched Computational Social Science Impact fund, students deliver tangible deliverables such as digital graduation projects, working algorithms, digital interventions, websites, roadmaps, infographics and more.

Investment

A financial contribution of €5,000 for each year and €15,000 over three-year partnership (2026–2029) allows students to transform these prototypes into long-lasting, change-making tools and funds high-quality impact events to showcase collaborative work.

Our partnerships are usually free of charge for NGOs and non-profit organisations, but do require a time commitment of one hour per week from our partners.

Most of our partners understand that digital prototypes require funding to develop into fully-fledged digital interventions. That is why we are seeking partners for our impact fund. As a Impact Fund partner with Computational Social Science, your organisation puts its most pressing social and environmental challenges in the hands of a new generation of international data scientists - who turn them into real digital solutions.
